What the heck is happening with the podcast

To the listeners,

When I started the podcast in 2019, I was just starting out the business and craving the opportunity to learn from those aound me in higher positions than me.

I have been fortunate to really meet some amazing people who are making groundbreaking products and shifting consumer perspectives.

Between consulting work and podcast work, we have struggled to find some level of balance. And the past 6 months, we quieted just to figure out how to shift gears.

I wanted to reevaluate what the podcast was actually doing and why we were doing it. I didn’t want to give interviews just to give interviews. I was thinking the podcast could be a space to really solve problems. I struggled to brainstorm how to integrate the community.

Until now.

After months and months of laying awake at night thinking about how we need to develop a new show and what that could look like, it’s finally getting the makeover it needs.

  • Timeline: February 2023

  • Concentration: Solution-building sustainability conversations. How do we make things better?

  • Format: Guest Co-Hosts from real companies changing the world. (That isn’t changing) that function more as a co-host for the show than a guest lecturer. We will be playing sustainability games, reviewing reports and calling out real issues and how we would solve them. We are also creating opportunities for listeners to write in with issues at their company and how they can build better programs and solve sustainability problems.

  • Games We Play:

    • What would Patagonia Do?

    • Law & Order: Sustainability Victims Unit

    • and many more!

If you want to get involved with the podcast or want us to focus on a certain issue - please email us at info@makeclimatecool.com

We will be spending the next few months pre-recording and organizing content and episodes will be released on a weekly basis for the duration of a season.

Can’t wait for this journey and looking forward to your thoughts on the new format!
